I see your problem! They are making a very good task of keeping the Summer Schedule secret! However it will be at least as good as the Winter timetable when the last crossing is at 1800hrs - given it takes 2 hours to Port Ellen even with long Northern summer days it seems unlikely they can get another return trip in after that? We arrived this morning from Coleraine. Late breakfast in the islay hotel which was great. Wife and I hired a tandem and visited the three distilleries east of port Ellen. On the way back we bumped into a real character and called Willie Currie who entertained us with his chat before we returned to the lovely harbour.
